WORLD FORUM OF UKRAINIAN WOMEN

WORLD FORUM OF UKRAINIAN WOMEN brought together women from all over the world for dialogue, support and a common vision of Ukraine’s recovery. The event was held in a hybrid format — both online and offline in Kyiv. Participants from over 30 countries joined the online broadcast, demonstrating the strong international support for Ukrainian women. The Forum was opened by Olga Veselovska, Head of the Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine

Strong voices and heartbreaking stories.

The Forum brought together powerful speakers from government institutions, international organizations, business, education and civil society. The topic of Ukrainian women’s return home was particularly touching — filled with stories of incredible strength, hope, and a deep desire to be part of the country’s great recovery

– Adaptation and integration of IDP women in new communities.

– Facilitating the return of Ukrainian women from abroad.

– The role of women’s communities and mentoring initiatives in rebuilding Ukraine.

Practical results

During the Forum, the concept of the GRAVITY_UA innovation platform was presented, as well as approaches to assessing community loyalty to IDPs. New partnerships, ideas for joint projects, and insightful recommendations for government and civil society organizations were an important result of the event. The Forum’s outputs and main results will be formalized and sent in the form of recommendations to government agencies and interested partners responsible for improving the effectiveness of women’s socio-economic integration.

An active Donor.ua station was available at the Forum, offering attendees the opportunity to get their blood type tested.

The speeches, full of experience and inspiration, showed that Ukrainian women are a force capable of transforming challenges into new opportunities.
