“GRANT OPPORTUNITIES for Starting and Strengthening an Existing Business” is a joint initiative of the Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine and Iryna Nikolaeva.
The project is designed for women and girls who are internally displaced and war-affected.
As part of the project, participants learn how to generate, write, and submit grant applications to support and develop their own businesses.
It is aimed at women and girls who are already engaged in private entrepreneurship or are in the process of relocating or starting their own business.
Each participant is assigned to a mentor from Iryna Nikolaieva’s team. Participants also receive counseling and mentoring support from other experts of the Association of Women Ambassadors of Ukraine:
- on calculating and budgeting a grant application,
- on the basics of financial literacy,
- consultations on SMM strategies for developing their own business,
- on strengthening communication and leadership skills,
- team building and employee recruitment.
Participants: women and girls from Kherson, Mykolaiv, Lviv, and Kyiv regions.
Implementation period: the first phase of the project will last for 6 months (September 2024 – February 2025).
