First training session in the “Voice of Women” series

The first part of the LEADERSHIP TRAINING session in the “TO BE” training series took place: VOICE OF WOMEN: hear yourself and the world will hear you.
These are free training sessions for women and girls who are internally displaced persons (IDPs) and those affected by the war. Women who have moved to Kyiv, lost their homes, and suffered from the war are coming together to strengthen their voices, take action in their communities, and launch their own initiatives, projects, or businesses.
The goal of the training is to strengthen the leadership potential of IDP women, help them find their own voice, communicate confidently, promote their initiatives, and unite in support communities to act, influence, and be visible in new communities.

Who is it for: IDP women and girls who have moved to Kyiv, who are active, enterprising, and want to be heard,
those who want to start their own business, influence, protect the rights of IDPs, and develop their leadership skills.
The project “Psychosocial Support for IDP Women and Girls and People with Disabilities” is implemented by the ICF @nova_kakhovka_ in partnership with the NGO @ambassadorsua with technical support from @unwomen_ukraine and funding from the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) @wphfund, a flexible and responsive funding tool that supports quality activities to enhance the capacity of local women to prevent conflict, respond to crises and emergencies, and seize key peacebuilding opportunities.
