As part of implementing the project, the NGO “Association of Women Abmassadors of Ukraine” operates Survivor Relief Centres in Kyiv, Borodianka, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia, as well as mobile Survivor Relief Centres in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson.
The organization combines the provision of comprehensive psychological, social, and legal support to people affected by the war with the development of the professional capacity of multidisciplinary teams through training, supervision, intervision, training of trainers (ToT), professional guidance for mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) specialists, and the implementation of quality assurance tools.
The Survivor Relief Centres are a network of 12 centers established in partnership with the Government of Ukraine and UNFPA, where individuals can receive comprehensive support through a “one-stop shop” approach. The centers bring together psychological, social, legal, and informational support in one place, and also provide case management and coordination of access to necessary medical, social, legal, and other specialized services.
The centers are open to internally displaced persons; people who have survived combat, occupation, or captivity; those who have experienced conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV), domestic violence, or other forms of gender-based violence; their family members; and local residents in need of support.
All services are provided free of charge, confidentially, safely, and unconditionally.
