Strengthening the Capacity of Women’s Civil Society Organizations for Community Development

As part of the project, the NGO “Association of Women Abmassadors of Ukraine” supported women’s civil society organizations and initiative groups that were in the process of being established or developed. The project aimed to strengthen organizational capacity, develop management competencies, and ensure the sustainable development of women’s civil society organizations.

The program included training in project and financial management, communications, fundraising, and the legal aspects of civil society organizations’ activities, as well as individual consultations with experts in law, finance, marketing, and organizational development.

As part of the project, more than 150 participants from over 30 women’s civil society organizations and initiative groups in the Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, and Chernihiv regions. The project contributed to the development of new civic initiatives, the strengthening of the organizational capacity of women’s CSOs, and the expansion of the professional network of women leaders.
