«Poruch» – Project for psychological support

The “Poruch” program was implemented in collaboration with the Kharkiv, Kherson, and Mykolaiv City Centers for Social Services for Families, Children, and Youth, as well as the Kyiv Regional Center for Social Services. Specialists from the NGO “Association of Women Abmassadors of Ukraine” provided psychological assistance and support to people affected by war, domestic and gender-based violence, as well as to family members of veterans and military personnel.

As part of the program, 290 people received psychological support; 860 counseling sessions were provided—257 of which addressed domestic and gender-based violence—and 75 self-help group meetings were held.

Participants also had the opportunity to join the Association’s educational programs and continue working with a psychologist during the job search and adaptation to a new workplace. A total of 180 counseling sessions were provided as part of this initiative.
