Gender Equality in Pay: Expert Support from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine

As part of this project, the NGO “Association of Women Abmassadors of Ukraine,” in collaboration with the Department of Employment of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, contributed to the development of practical tools for implementing state policy on ensuring gender equality in pay in accordance with the National Strategy for Closing the Gender Pay Gap by 2030.

As part of the project, a methodology for gender-neutral job evaluation was developed, along with recommendations for ensuring transparency in pay based on gender criteria, as well as mechanisms for responding to cases of gender discrimination in pay that employers can implement through internal policies and procedures.

A separate component of the project involved researching the economic benefits of implementing gender-sensitive approaches for businesses, as well as conducting training for employers on preventing gender discrimination and implementing transparent pay mechanisms.
