As part of the Skills4Recovery multi-donor initiative, the NGO “Association of Women Abmassadors of Ukraine” is implementing the project “Women’s Participation in the Labor Market: Personalized and Gender-Sensitive Employment Services.”
The project aims to increase women’s economic participation by strengthening the operational capacity of institutions working in the fields of employment and vocational training. The project covers six regions of Ukraine: Zakarpattia, Lviv, Kyiv, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy. It collaborates with 23 institutions of the State Employment Service and vocational education institutions.
As part of the project’s implementation, modern support tools are being introduced, including:
– Assessment of the needs of women seeking employment.
– Gamified training formats that promote engagement and hands-on learning.
– Mock interviews that help participants prepare for real-life employment situations.
– Job profiles that help identify and overcome structural gender barriers.
These approaches also support the development of effective cross-sectoral referral pathways, ensuring higher-quality and more accessible support for women on their path to employment.
