Breaking Stereotypes: How Women Are Changing Traditionally ‘Male’ Professions

🎤The Association of Women Abmassadors of Ukraine took part in a panel discussion titled “Breaking Stereotypes: How Women Are Changing Traditionally ‘Male’ Professions,” which took place as part of the Career Festival at VDNG.
The event was attended by the organization’s chairwoman, Olga Veselovska, and Association representative Iryna Orel.
During the panel discussion, Olga Veselovska served as a speaker and discussed the Association’s initiatives aimed at supporting women in the labor market, professional development, retraining, and creating new opportunities for women in the face of contemporary challenges. In particular, she discussed the implementation of the multi-donor project “Women’s Participation in the Labor Market: Personalized and Gender-Sensitive Employment Services,” which helps women gain new career opportunities and support for their professional development.
🤝The discussion brought together representatives from the public sector, international organizations, employers, and the civil society sector to address the important topic of overcoming gender stereotypes in the workplace and expanding opportunities for women in fields traditionally considered “male-dominated.”
