We are starting an important path of support and recovery!
We are proud to announce the launch of the project: “Psychosocial support for IDP women and girls and people with disabilities” (implementation period: March – November 2025).
As our country continues to struggle for independence, thousands of women, girls and people with disabilities are forced to adapt to new circumstances, cope with emotional trauma, uncertainty, loneliness and social isolation. This project is our joint step towards creating conditions in which they can feel supported, believe in themselves again, and start a new stage of life.
WHO WE ARE:
The project is implemented by the ICF “Nova Kakhovka is Ukraine” in partnership with the NGO “Association of Ambassadors of Ukraine” – teams that bring together caring women from all over Ukraine to support the most vulnerable segments of the population.
OUR GOAL: to provide women and girls who are internally displaced persons (IDPs)
access to qualified psychological assistance
opportunities for emotional recovery;
resources for social adaptation and integration.
WHAT WE DO for IDP women, girls and families:
– We provide individual psychological counseling.
– We provide legal counseling.
– We conduct group support sessions and trainings on restoring emotional health.
– We organize events and trainings for children and youth.
– We take measures to prevent gender-based violence.
– We conduct trainings on practical and leadership skills for women and girls.

Where is the project being implemented?
In our safe space NOVA in Kyiv and online – so that every woman, girl, family, regardless of their location, has a chance to join psycho-emotional recovery activities.
The project also includes trainings to strengthen women’s NGOs working to support IDPs and prevent gender-based violence.
We believe that psychosocial support is not only about treating trauma, but also about creating new opportunities. Participants will not only receive help, but will also find new meanings, strengthen their internal resilience, and develop skills that will help them realize their potential in life and social activities.
Every meeting, every conversation, every training session is another step towards change.
The project will also help reduce the level of gender-based violence, reduce tension in families and improve the social climate in communities.
❗️Запрошуємо everyone who needs support, as well as those who want to be part of positive change, to join our initiative!
❗️Заповніть registration form to participate in the project and receive support and assistance.
